About the Studio
Where painters
work. Not talk.
EXHAUST is a working studio on the Provincetown waterfront. Cinder block walls. Concrete floor. No pretense. The same raw conditions that produced the Concrete Winter series.
The studio is for professional painters in active practice — people showing work, building a body of work, or in deep pursuit of their craft. It is not for hobbyists or dabblers.
Membership is sliding scale, up to $600/month. We don't advertise a fixed price because we'd rather have the right painters than the richest ones.
All members are required to obtain an outdoor artist license from the Town of Provincetown. This is non-negotiable — the license keeps our relationship with the town in good standing and gives you the right to paint outdoors in the most productive painting environment in the Northeast.
Professional painters only. If you're not in active practice and showing work, this isn't the right fit.
Get your outdoor artist license from the Town of Provincetown before or at the time of joining.
Sliding scale membership up to $600/month. Rate is set based on your situation — discussed one-on-one.
Hours: Wed–Sun, 7am–11pm, all season. Show up and work. That's it.
